Raychelle is a professor of chemistry at St. Edward’s University and analytical chemist who specializes in forensics to help solve real world problem and help communities. She combines her love of STEM with pop culture and always advocates for women and underrepresented groups in the sciences. She is the co-creator of SciPop Talks!, founder of the DIY Science Zone program at GeekGirlCon, has appeared on ACS’ Reactions, Science Channel’s Outrageous Acts of Science, and was recently the 2020 recipient of ACS’ Grady-Stack Award for Interpreting Chemistry for the Public to recognize individuals who have increased public knowledge and understanding of the chemical sciences through television, film, books, lectures and other media.
