Forest woman Dr. Lindsey Rustad! After college, Lindsey always wanted to live in the forests, which led her to her work with acid rain. This work inspired her to become a forest scientist to help make forests healthier. Her work has dealt with destructive forces like acid rain, global warming, and ice storms. She introduces technology into forest sciences. Currently, she works with cybertechnology in forests across the northeastern United States, putting small computers into the forest to take samples every minute and learning new things every day. Her work will help to provide the science to manage our nations forest today and in the future.
