Dr Sylvie Garneau-Tsodikova is a professor and assistant dean for research at the University of Kentucky for pharmacy. Her lab focuses on infectious diseases, where she seeks to understand resistance mechanisms in bacterial and fungal pathogens to combat resistance with chemicals. She was recently featured in Academic Pharmacy Now, where she talks about how she hopes to inspire the next generation.
