Tuberculosis affects one third of the worlds' population and is a leading cause of infection disease worldwide. While some people may not know it's still a problem, Megan Prescott does and is trying to find the solution! A PhD microbiology student at University of Gerogia studying vaccines for tuberculosis. She is interested in science communication and finding creative ways to get people interested. Committed to social justice and improving the world through science, she serves as President of both UGA’s Science Policy organization and UGA’s Women in Science organization.
