Catie Cuan is a performer and roboticist, she combines her love of dance and STEM to teach robots how to dance!⠀Her installations and performances with robots have been shown around the world, giving thousands of audience members a chance to see robots as friendly and beautiful characters.
Her work has been featured on the PBS Newshour, CBS Mission Unstoppable and in a TED Talk, titled “Teaching Robots How to Dance”.⠀
She is currently a PhD Candidate in the Mechanical Engineering department at Stanford University, where she makes and studies new robots and haptic devices.
